Holy crap! So off I go and ask my dispatcher to find a truck to ship a ghia from Story City, IA to West Jordan, UT. 1,116 miles
Thank goodness my dispatcher was wonderful and was able to get me a fabulous rate and a wonderful truck driver who took very good care of our new ghia. It arrived unharmed and had a little protection with it.
The thing about this new ghia is that it is a Autostick. Have you ever driven one of those? WOW! I had a hard time just getting it to start. (You have to have it in neutral) Once I did get it started I actually had to push it back because I couldn't find reverse. Ha! I had a hell of a time trying to get that thing home. Quite comical.
So we now welcome our New 1968 Semi Automatic Karmann Ghia Convertible
